Greetings, Alani, and welcome to planDisney! The answer to your question depends on whether you're asking about a ticket offer or a Magic Key pass. I'll provide some information about both to help you prepare for your next visit.
Let's start with ticket offers. The
CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer was available to California residents within ZIP codes 90000-96199. Unfortunately, sales have since stopped, and it can no longer be purchased. If you already have this ticket, you'll want to make sure to bring a valid, government-issued photo ID that lists your California residence when using the ticket for admission. This ticket is valid through May 21, 2026, and
reservations are required. Make sure that all your reservations are in place. Since the end date for this ticket is approaching, it may be harder to get a reservation on specific dates as Guests use up the remaining days of their tickets.
If you didn't have a chance to take advantage of the recent California resident offer before sales stopped, check the
Offers & Discounts page periodically to see if any similar offers are made available in the future. In the meantime, the one-day tickets are priced as low as $104 per day (prices subject to change) when visiting one park per day. The prices vary depending on the date, so if you have flexibility in when you visit, this could be a good option.
Now, let's talk about
Magic Key passes. If you're interested in either getting an
Imagine Key annual pass (which is only available to Southern California residents), or establishing monthly payments for a Magic Key pass (which is only available to California residents), here's what you'll need to know: Your MyDisney account will need to have an address within the eligible ZIP code range in order for you to have these options during the purchase process.
Sign in to your account on the Disneyland website, navigate to your profile page (in the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu), and then click "Manage MyDisney Account." Follow the
"How to Buy" guide on the Magic Key page to see step-by-step instructions on making your purchase. Also, please keep in mind that, when entering a theme park with your Magic Key for the first time, you'll be asked to present a valid, government-issued photo ID.
If you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort a few times throughout the year, then the
Magic Key annual pass is an excellent choice. I have the Inspire Key, and visit the parks a few times per month. It's a lot of fun being in the parks and knowing your next visit is on the horizon. Magic Key holders get discounts at
select merchandise and dining locations, too!
Alani, I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
