Hey there, Haleigh!
If we are looking at the big picture, in all of my years and all of my trips to
Walt Disney World, I've only been asked to show identification a few times. Those times have always been when using military tickets and when using a
Florida resident discounted ticket.
I see that you are Florida residents, so if you plan to use the discounted tickets, he needs some form of identification. On the plus side, there are quite a few
things that you can use to prove Florida residency, so he may still be in luck even without his wallet and the usual forms of ID. If you have a mortgage document with his name on it, that'll work. They also accept things like utility bills, bank statements, and other "official" pieces of mail (mail from a government agency or financial institution, but not a birthday card from Grandmom). Mail has to be stuff that's been delivered within the two months prior to you going to the theme park.
If you are not using a discounted Florida resident ticket, first of all, WHY NOT? It can be such great savings! But if you're using just a regular theme park ticket, he may not need any form of identification. It's always good to have, especially in instances where the ticket doesn't immediately work at the Mickey head checkpoint, so if he can carry something identifying, it'll help.
I know how hard it is up here in NJ to get ID replaced when you lose it due to the current situation. I hope your husband can get his replaced quickly!
