    I’m buying theme park tickets for my 8 year old granddaughter, who is going with other family members to pick up her tickets do they really need my credit card that I used to purchase tickets

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort Florida Resident theme park tickets!

    Guests using Florida Resident theme park tickets must show Proof of Florida Residency when activating any Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket. I think the best way to get your granddaughter her theme park ticket (since she is under the age of 18), is by visiting Guest Services at Disney Springs personally. That way you can show your identification, activate her ticket and you don’t have to give any other family members your credit card. 

    Kathleen, you can also consider gifting your granddaughter a Disney Gift Card. That way, the other adults can purchase her theme park ticket without any issues. She can also buy herself some souvenirs to remember her magical trip with her family!
