I'm bringing my almost 9 yrold granddaughter to MK June 26th. I'm stumped about what her age group would enjoy the most. Do 9 year old girls still believe in princesses. Is she too old to enjoy bippity boppity boutique or Cinderella's character dining?

What a lovely vacation you're planning with your granddaughter, Lisa! My nine year-old daughter LOVES Disney (shocking I know), but sadly her princess days seem to be behind here. However, she does revert back to some of her princess ways when at Disney. She would never wear a princess dress again, but will still pose for pictures with the princesses. She loves chatting with them, and will wear her mini crown whenever she can.

We were just there this past week, and she said that she'd love to get the rock "Secret Star" hair do at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We always do at least one character meal, which we both love! Our two favourites are 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. If you decide on a character meal, be sure to reserve in advance at (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) to avoid disappointment.

Disney has a way of bringing out the prince and princess in everyone. Have a magical vacation!
