    I'm bring 2 kids who've never had a vac. like I am about 2 give them, along w/ my daughter, 8. She & I loved the Animal K. parade. Is there a way of gettin selected to be 1 of the fam's who can B in the parade? Not staying at Dis hotel.

    It sounds as though you are planning a fabulous trip!

    Unfortunately there is no way of getting yourself chosen to participate in any of the parades in Walt Disney World. The families are selected completely at random and it's just a case of being in the right place at the right time. The only tips I can give you are to get to the park early, talk to any Castmembers (Disney employees) you see, maybe pin trade with them, and most of all look like a happy friendly family.

    Don't worry if you're not chosen though as Disney is such a magical place that I'm sure the children you're bringing will have a fantastic time anyway.
