I'm from Brazil, going to WDW in february/15. Will be traveling with a 2.5 y girl and a 12 y boy. I've hear that it is possible to "hold" a spot in line in attractions that the littles ones can't ride, so both parents can ride. Is that right? How

    Hi Juliana!

February is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World.   The weather is great, and the crowd levels are slightly lower than peak season.  I know you are going to have a fantastic time making memories with your family.

The service you are thinking of is called Rider Switch.   Rider Switch allows one adult to wait with the non-rider while the others in your party experience the attraction. Once they have finished  the ride, the waiting adult can enter the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again.   The waiting adult can also bring one Guest to experience the attraction with them. So your 12 year old son may get lucky enough to ride twice.  In order to utilize Rider Switch please see a Cast Member at the entrance of the select attraction.  A Cast Member will give you a Rider Switch pass to hold onto while the first members of your party ride the attraction.  When they are finished riding you can take your Rider Switch card along with one Guest and enter the attraction without having to wait in the normal queue.   I have two young sons and we utilize this service all the time, it is a great way to let my whole family experience rides without having to wait in the normal line twice. I hope you find it as easy to use as we have.  My 8 year-old daughter also loves the fact that she gets to ride with both mom and dad on her favorite attractions.  I think that is something your 12 year-old will love also.

Juliana,  if you have any other questions please let me know. I love to help out fellow Disney-loving families.

    Dream as Dreamers Do,
