Hi there, Molly! Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to reach out and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
As Walt Disney World Resort continues to re-invite Guests to experience the magic, there have been some
changes made to promote the safety of all Guests that visit! During my own family’s recent visits, we were so excited to find these changes in place and felt incredibly safe throughout our stay! During your upcoming vacation, you can look forward to such updates as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact.
Another important update to keep in mind is the need to have theme park reservations prior to visiting any of the four theme parks! Guests are able to make their reservations through the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as they have purchased their
theme park tickets and attached them to their
My Disney Experience account. When purchasing through a third-party vendor, you can connect your theme park tickets by visiting the
“Link Your Reservations and Purchases” webpage and clicking the “Tickets” tab. From here, you will be able to enter your ticket ID numbers that should be included in your reservation information you received when you purchased your vacation package. Once you have done this, you will be able to assign your theme park tickets to the members of your party and create your theme park reservations!
It is highly recommended that you check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to purchasing theme park tickets as well! This way, you can verify that there is availability during your travel dates at the theme parks you would like to visit.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort this August! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
