Hi, I’m booking a package but I need two rooms. How can I do that?

Hi Christina, and welcome back to planDisney. I’m excited to hear that you’re planning your next vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth! So I’d be more than happy to help figure out the best way to book your trip.

When you’re buying a Disney World vacation package, you can only reserve one room at a time. This means you’ll have to book your rooms in two separate transactions. When checking out on the Disney World website, look for the "Room & Amenities Requests" section. Click “Change” and select whether you’d like to request a nearby or connecting room. You can then add the name of the lead guest on the second room and the check-in date. While requests aren’t guaranteed, Cast Members will try their best to grant your wish!

Alternatively, you can always call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number, and a Cast Member can assist with booking the two rooms.

Now, let’s chat about all of the amazing benefits you’ll get as a Disney Resort hotel guest! Here are a couple of my favorite perks that I wanted to highlight.

If you’re planning to buy Lightning Lane Passes, Disney Resort hotel guests can purchase the service up to seven days before check-in for their whole stay (up to 14 days). This can make it easier to snag popular attractions like Slinky Dog Dash and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

And when you’re at Disney World, Disney Resort hotel guests can get into the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening with Early Theme Park Entry! My family likes to get an early start and ride a few attractions with lower wait times before heading back to our resort hotel for a midday break. If you’re staying at a Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa Resort, you’ll also get access to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Being in the theme parks late at night, with the glowing lights, always feels so special!

Before I go, I wanted to mention one last thing. Keep in mind that January can be pretty chilly in Florida. So check the weather forecast closer to your trip and consider packing extra layers. I like to bring a packable puffy jacket that can compress to fit in my park bag when it’s warmer in the middle of the day.

I’m wishing you the best visit ever next year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
