I’m booked for Boardwalk deluxe studio 11/19-11/26. I have 2 questions, is there any chance they will bring out AP rates for resort stays for that time period and are they bringing back the dining plan? I like having my meals all paid ahead of time.

    Hi Patty!

Thanks for dropping back by planDisney! It is so great to see you here asking more vacation questions, and it would be my pleasure to provide you with some answers. I love the location of Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, with the entertainment and dining options available right there on Disney’s BoardWalk. You will be just a short walk away from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT and the Disney Skyliner transportation.

Currently, there are no special rates for Disney Resort hotels or Disney Vacation Club Resorts for annual passholders in November. I highly recommend that you continue to check the Annual Passholders: Special Offers and Events page for the latest special offers and discounts.

I, too, love having my meals paid for in advance, and I miss the convenience of the Disney Dining Plan. During my last visit, with the Disney Dining Plan unavailable, I used Disney Gift Cards to budget meals in advance. I set aside a certain amount for each day, purchasing Disney Gift Cards in the months leading up to my vacation. I found it to be a great way to budget for meals in advance, and I highly recommend doing the same if the Dining Plans are still unavailable the next time you plan to visit Walt Disney World. You can start purchasing Disney Gift Cards now, and if the Dining Plans become available before your visit, you can use your Disney Gift Cards to add the Dining Plan to your Disney vacation package. Disney has not given a timeline for the return of Dining Plans, but I highly recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the return of the Dining Plans.

I hope you can plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World and that we see the return of the Dining Plans soon!  Please remember, you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
