Three Generations Aboard Ship; fireworks; night

    I'm beginning to plan a 7-night cruise with my two children (10yo twins) but I will be by myself as my husband has to work. I know the kids are looking forward to the Lab but is there anything special you would recommend for a solo Mom? Thank you!

    Disney Cruise Line's Cruise Staff does an amazing job planning activities for ALL ages!  While your twins are off having a blast in the Lab, you will have a variety of  activities to choose from for your own fun!



    Each day you will receive a Personal Navigator  that lists all the ship's activities for that particular day.  You will want to pay close attention to the "Adults" and "Family" rows so you don't miss out on any of the fabulous offerings.  Disney's Art of Entertaining is a great way for you to see how the culinary team creates some of the delectable dishes onboard!  There are often behind the scenes tours of the theatre where you can check out what it takes to put on a spectacular broadway-style show at sea.  For a minimal fee, you can participate in a wine or beer tasting.  The wine tasting does require a reservation so stop by Guest Services to reserve your spot.  Another idea is to grab some popcorn and soda and head to the Buena Vista Theatre for a flick!



    Since you will be cruising as a solo Mom, I think you deserve pampering at the Spa!  There are many options available and specials are listed daily in your Personal Navigator.  There is also a hair salon that offers hair cuts, highlights, permanent color, manicures, pedicures and waxing.  Reservations can be made for the salon once you board.  You might also enjoy relaxing by the adult-only pool, Quiet Cove.  There are some cozy, padded chaise lounges that are perfect for reading or taking a siesta on deck.  Next to the Quiet Cove Pool, is Cove Cafe.  This quaint spot is a Wi-Fi hot spot and serves delicious pastries and specialty coffees.



    Don't forget about shopping!  When the ship is not in port, you can spend time browsing for duty-free savings!
