Hi Moms! I'm going back to Disney World for the first time without my mom, who passed away in 2009. Is there any opportunity to leave a memorial for her, something like the tiles outside of Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Sarah,

I am so sorry about the passing of your mom. Currently, the Walkway Memorial in front of Magic Kingdom and the Leave a Legacy tiles in Epcot are no longer taking new additions.

While there may not be a way to leave a memory at the Walt Disney World Resorts of your mom, I can think of a few ways to remember her and Disney in your home.

You could purchase a souvenir of your favorite attraction to ride together or her favorite movie and display this in your home. You could go to Arribas Brothers in Downtown Disney or Imageworks in Epcot and have something designed in glass.

You could purchase a scrapbook from this trip and add pictures of her through the years at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
