Hello, Arleta! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
How exciting that you get to attend this year’s
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at
Magic Kingdom Park! It really is one of my favorite annual events at
Walt Disney World Resort.
I’m happy to report that the
Rider Switch service will still be available during the Party, allowing everyone in your group to enjoy the attractions for which they meet the minimum height requirement. As you know, Rider Switch will allow one person in your group to wait with the little ones (or others in your group who prefer not to ride) while another member of your group (over the age of 14) rides with those who need to be accompanied. When their turn is finished, the other adult can swap places and enjoy the same attraction without having to wait twice. It’s such a great service for those families or groups with both riders and non-riders.
I hope you enjoy your visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Arleta! If your little ones can stay awake, I would recommend sticking around for the second
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade of the evening and the later stage shows, too. Use those early Party hours to enjoy the attractions and/or meet some of your favorite
Disney Characters in their holiday attire.
Please let us know if we can offer any additional tips to help you maximize your time at Magic Kingdom Park, Arleta. We hope to see you real soon!
Amy
