Hey Howdy Hey Vanessa,
Welcome back to planDisney. Fall is such a beautiful time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. The summer heat has begun to pass and with the kids returning to school, the crowds tend to shrink. The best part of your upcoming trip is you will be able to enjoy
The World's Most Magical Celebration as well as special fall events like
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (yummy!) and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
How spooktacular that you snagged a ticket to attend this special event at
Magic Kingdom! Our family loves attending Mickey's Halloween get together. This frightfully, fun event occurs on select evenings from mid August through Halloween. Guests will find most attractions open during the party and since there is a limit on the number of tickets sold, the wait times are generally minimal. There are treat stations set up around the theme park as well as delicious holiday treats offered at a number of locations. You will be able to enjoy special character interactions and unique entertainment options like
Mickey's Boo to You! Halloween Parade! It is a ghoulishly great time for all!
Of course, a great party calls for the perfect Halloween costume and it sounds like you have one all ready to go! I have good news regarding your question - you will be able to bring your costume to Magic Kingdom that morning and store it until later that afternoon. We have actually done that a number of times ourselves. Remember, you will need to enter through security that morning so be prepared to have your bag checked. If you do not want to carry the bag all day, you can
rent a locker near the front entrance to the theme park until you are ready to change for the party. As a reminder, you will want to check the
costume guidelines as there are a few restrictions you will need to follow.
I hope you have a boo-tiful time and be sure to watch out for Hitchhiking Ghosts and Headless Horseman. I hear they are a little rambunctious on party nights. If I can help with any additional questions please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
