    I’m attending a conference at the Grand Floridian resort. Can I upgrade my room with Disney Events?

    Hi Angie!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Lucky you!  How fun that you will be able to combine business with some Disney magic while attending your conference.  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is simply beautiful, and the convention center right next door is so convenient.

    I am assuming you reserved your room through the room block offered by the conference you will be attending.  Typically, rooms offered at convention pricing are for a particular room category.  I would call the number you used to make your reservation to see what your options might be as far as an upgrade.  If the upgrade you are seeking is not available in advance, I would note your request when you complete the Online Check-In process.  Depending on the type of upgrade, you never know when a sprinkle of pixie dust might happen.

    Be sure to stop by the Basin White shop during your visit.  I love bringing home some bath bombs so I can enjoy those fresh Florida scents at home.  I also thought you might be interested to know that Gasparilla Island Grill is open 24 hours, so if you find yourself in need of a snack or beverage you'll know where to stop.
