So I'm arriving Sunday , this might sound like a stupid question are the Magic Bands OK to go through Airport Security? do we have to do anything special with them? Are they considered an Electronic device. Thanks

    Hello, Mike!

That's a very interesting question! In all of my trips to the Walt Disney World Resort, I have never had to do anything special with my MagicBand to get through airport security. Most of the time, my family and I leave our MagicBands on so we don't misplace them before our quick flight to Orlando. Now here's where things could possibly get tricky: Just because I haven't experienced any issues with getting through airport security while wearing my MagicBand does not mean that you will not encounter any delays or extra attention. If you would like to exercise a little more caution, you should be able to simply remove your MagicBand and place it on the tray with your shoes or other electronic devices. If you are a nervous flyer, this could be especially helpful to give you peace of mind before your flight.

Wishing you safe travels and a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Mike. Always remember -- You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!
