Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Gail! I'm glad you found us because your
Walt Disney World Resort holiday is just days away. My most memorable visits have been with large groups of friends and family, so I know you'll have a blast. As Peter Pan would say, "Here we gooooo!"
We don't want any "Lost Boys" on your trip, so keep everyone synced through your My Disney Experience accounts. My tip is for all eight of you to have your own account; even children can have a profile that an adult manages. As long as you're all sharing plans, you should be able to see what everyone is up to. You can choose from linked guests on your
Family & Friends list when making dining reservations, joining virtual queues, and more.
If either of the kiddos has trouble waiting in traditional queues due to a developmental disability such as autism, they can determine eligibility for
Disability Access Service (DAS) once they arrive in the United States. Download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and type "DAS" in the search field. You'll find detailed information about the program, and if you think someone in your party qualifies, tap on the blue "Speak with a Cast Member" link. If you don't have a compatible device, please stop by any Guest Relations location for assistance.
Part of the DAS approval process allows eligible guests to add a limited number of people to their pass. During the video chat, Cast Members can create the pass parties at their discretion. I'm wishing on a star that it all works out!
Gail, I hope I've given you some guidance to make your visit practically perfect. If I misunderstood your question, please feel free to head back to
planDisney anytime. I hope your family flies straight on till morning!
Thinking happy thoughts,
Elaine
