Jeremy,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Yes, you absolutely can go to one of the Disney Water Parks on days that you are not visiting the theme parks!
If you have purchased a 4-day park ticket package that includes water park entries as a plus option, you have 7 days to redeem everything. So, you should get 4 of the plus options to enjoy during your stay, and you can use them (with a few time limitations) whenever you choose in that 7-day window. You can redeem them on days that you do visit the theme parks, as well as on days when you are taking a break from them. The options typically include the water parks, golfing, and miniature golf prior to 4 pm.
If you want to go to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on day 4, and then
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park on day 5 (assuming both are open on those days), you are certainly most welcome to do so. As a matter of fact, I prefer to visit the water parks on days that I am not going to a theme park.
Why? Well, the water parks have so much to do, I really want to make a day of those visits, not just a few hours in the afternoon or evening. I also don't want to cut into my theme park visits just for an hour or two of time at a water park. If I want a few hours of pool time, I will just do that back at my resort.
BONUS TIPIf you would like to plus up your water park visits, I strongly recommend you consider booking one of their reserved spaces, like the
Beachcomber Shack or the
Umbrella reservations at Typhoon Lagoon. In either case you get a "home base" where you can keep your belongings and give your family a place to meet up. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park has similar options as well. Just call
(407) WDW-PLAY or
(407) 939-7529 to make a reservation.

Have a Magical Vacation!
