Hi Rocio,
Thanks for bringing us another great question today! I'm excited you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort later this year.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is such a fun place to stay and truly puts you in the middle of the magic as you'll have convenient access via
Disney Skyliner to two of the four parks. I've stayed there twice before and loved soaring to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT during my visits.
You can utilize
Online Check-In to take advantage of
Direct-to-Room Service and bypass the Front Desk on your arrival date. You'll receive a push notification through the My Disney Experience App and/or a text message with your
room assignment once it's available. Check-in time is 3 p.m. but I've sometimes received a room assignment earlier in the day. It's never guaranteed but always a bit of welcome pixie dust when you can head straight to your room after a busy morning of travel.
Take a look at the
interactive map to familiarize yourself with the resort in advance of your arrival. I've stayed in the '80s buildings on both of my past visits and it was only a short walk to the central area where
Everything POP Shopping & Dining and the
Hippy Dippy Pool were located and less than a 10-minute walk to the Disney Skyliner station. Complimentary bus transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is also available just out front of Everything POP Shopping & Dining. If you happen to be staying in the '80s or '90s buildings you can take a shortcut around the parking lot to the bus pick-up location.
I hope this puts you at ease, Rocio. If we can answer any additional planning questions please don't hesitate to pop back over to us here at planDisney. We're always glad to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
