hi, im from argentina, so i speak just a litlle of english. my family and I are going to a 3 days disney cruise, and one of the port destination is nassau bahamas. i want to know if we can stay at the ship to enjoy it, or do we have to go down.

    Welcome aboard Maria!

You must be looking forward to your Disney cruise! Any time a Disney ship is in port, you are welcome to leave the ship to take a look around the port or go on a Port Adventure, or simply stay on the ship for the day.

When our family doesn't have something we really want to do in port, we love to stay on the ship and take advantage of less crowds at the pools. Port days are also great times to wander the ship and explore. I'm assuming you must be on the Dream. While many other guests are in port, you'll find little to no wait for the AquaDuck that day, so it's the perfect time to ride over and over!

Another fun thing to do while in port on the ship is try the Midship Detective Agency. Grab a card and put on your sneakers, because you'll be sent all over the ship from Forward to Aft on many of the decks as you try to solve the cases. Hold the card in front of the magical pictures and watch as they come to life, giving you clues to the cases. It's a great activity for any age.

I hope you enjoy your time on the ship, Maria! My family could stay on the ship for any length of cruise and never get bored. There is always something new to try. Have a great cruise!
