Hi Gabriela, and welcome to planDisney. I love exploring the different resort hotels at Disney World, so I know you’re in for a magical day!
Let’s strategize! First, a quick note on transportation. There isn’t direct complimentary
Disney transportation between most resort hotels, although some are connected by monorail, Skyliner, or boat. The fastest way to get between those other resorts is to use a ride-share service, like Uber or Minnie Van Service. If you’d like to stick to complimentary options, you can always head to one of the theme parks (during operating hours) and get on Disney transportation from there to the next resort hotel. So let’s get started on your day!
From All-Star Movies Resort, it’s a short walk to your neighbor, All-Star Music. Here you can grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich from Intermission Food Court and walk around the grounds to look at the larger-than-life musical sculptures themed to the Calypso, Jazz, Rock, Country, and Broadway sections.
Then use ride-share service to head to your next stop—a journey through the decades at Pop Century Resort. When I’m here, I always check for the exclusive tie-dye cheesecake at
Everything Pop Shopping & Dining! And if you’re up for a bonus resort, I’d recommend walking towards Hourglass Lake and going over the bridge to visit Art of Animation. This resort has areas themed to Finding Nemo, Little Mermaid, Lion King, and Cars—my favorite section where you're transported to the heart of Route 66 with Lightning McQueen and the gang! There are so many great photo spots here.
Returning to the bridge between Pop Century and Art of Animation, you can take the Skyliner to EPCOT (you’ll have to transfer at Caribbean Beach). When you get there, walk away from EPCOT’s International Gateway Entrance and head to the BoardWalk. Here you can grab a snack from
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs or a chocolate caramel apple from Screen Door General Store and sit at the tables by Crescent Lake. If you have a bit of extra time, my family loves to rent a Surrey bike or walk over to
Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf.
From here, it’s time to head to lunch at the Polynesian! It’s fastest to use ride-share service, but from the BoardWalk you could also walk or take a FriendShip boat to Hollywood Studios where you can board a bus to the Polynesian. Once you get to this tropical oasis, my suggestion for lunch would be
Wailulu Bar & Grill at the new Island Tower. It’s a must-do for my next trip. Not only does the food look delicious, but the views of Cinderella Castle are amazing from here!
Finally, it’s time for your last resort of the day—Port Orleans! Again, the fastest way would be to take ride-share service and I’d suggest going to French Quarter resort first to get beignets from
Scat Cat’s Club Cafe! You can also explore the neighboring Riverside resort or take the boat to
Disney Springs to do some shopping! From Disney Springs, you can take a bus back to All-Star Movies for a well-deserved night of rest!
I hope this helps you plan a day full of adventure!
