Hiya, Jason!
I have been a
Walt Disney World annual pass holder for over 25 years, and I am always so grateful for the opportunity to visit the
theme parks multiple times each year with my kids and grandkids. I've also really enjoyed many of the
annual pass holder benefits and perks.
While the
annual pass holder benefits are pretty extensive, they do not at this time include discounts on tickets for other guests. But, let's look at what our other options are, Jason.
Disney gift cards are often sold at a 5% discount at some warehouse stores and at a big box store with a "red card" that gives 5% discounts on most purchases. You can buy these discounted gift cards and use them to purchase tickets for your family. Another option is through AAA. Some regional offices do sell discounted tickets - although not all do. If you or your son are AAA members, call the office in your region to see if they do have discounted tickets.
It's a great time to take the family to Walt Disney World, Jason. With the
50th Anniversary Celebration, there are all sorts of new and special things going on. You'll find newly opened attractions, like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and the spectacular
Disney Enchantment nighttime fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park. Also, snacks. There are lots of 50th anniversary snacks. Yum.
I hope you get to enjoy an absolutely amazing adventure with your kids, Jason!
