Hello, Marina, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The
Disney Princess Half Marathon was my first
runDisney race, and it made me absolutely fall in love with
runDisney events! Since then I’ve participated in every
runDisney race weekend except the
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, but that’s on my bucket list, too!
Early registration for the 2020 Disney Princess Half Marathon ends at 5 p.m. June 3 (or until capacity is reached) and is accessible through a
dedicated Annual Passholder page on the runDisney website. Don’t worry if you miss the cutoff, though! Open registration begins at 10 a.m. on June 4, 2019. Just make sure you’re logged into your
My Disney Experience account and have the
Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend page pulled up on your computer no later than 9:45 a.m. Refresh the page at 10 a.m. and the link that currently says “Stay Up to Date” will become a “Register Now” button. Click that button for the race you want to enter and follow the prompts. I would recommend having your credit card handy (I like to use my
Disney Premier Visa Card to earn rewards) so you’ll be ready to input your information as soon as possible. In my experience the
5K and
10K races sell out very quickly, but you generally have a little more leeway when registering for the Half Marathon or the
Disney Fairy Tale Challenge. Nevertheless, I would strongly encourage you to be logged in and ready to register when the option becomes available.
Once you’re registered, please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you about preparing for the race or what you can expect on race day. I know my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist
Eean and I would love to help.
Here’s to a Pixie-dusted registration process, Marina. Good luck!
Amy
