Hey there, Sara! We're so glad you stopped by!
Your upcoming
Walt Disney World visit requires a bit of a complex answer, so bear with me while I go over everything for you. But first, thank you so very much for your service and the sacrifices you make on behalf of our nation.
There are a couple of different military discounted tickets. The most discounted is the
Disney Military Salute ticket. You can purchase these 4 or 5-day tickets at some military bases or through
Shades of Green, the Armed Forces Resort located on Disney property. Shades of Green tickets have to be ordered in advance using the
Ticket Request Form, and in that process, you'll verify your eligibility so no ID is necessary when you enter the parks. Those tickets are then sent to you via Fed-Ex, already activated and ready to be used by whomever you choose. There is a limit of six tickets per service member.
The other military ticket is a slightly discounted ticket, only available on base. They don't have the same limits on the number you can buy. With either type of ticket, as with all tickets, you will still need to make
theme park reservations.
Florida resident discounted tickets do require any guest over the age of 18 to show proof of Florida residency in order to use the ticket. If you are picking those tickets up at
Disney Springs, you will need everyone over the age of 18 present with their proof of residency.
If this sounds confusing, reach back out to me, Sara, and I'll answer any other questions you may have.
