Will Illuminations be showing in October of 2010? I don't see it on the calender, but there is no mention of it being refurbished. I'd like to make dining reservations for Rose and Crown to view it, but we'd eat somewhere else if its not showing.

    Lois,

While there is always that rare chance that Disney is planning something with this amazingly popular show, I think you are just another victim of the new calendar system on the Disney website (like many of us!).

The truth is that on the day that the calendar is populated with park hours for a specific month (typically about 6-7 months ahead of that actual month), it rarely shows more than opening and closing times for the park, and any relevant Extra Magic Hours. From that point on, the performance times of parades, fireworks, major shows, and select entertainment is added to the calendar is spurts. Some attractions/shows have their times added far in advance, others lag behind.

I can't speak officially, but I am coming in October 2010 for my own personal family vacation, and I have no worries about IllumiNations not showing. I expect they will populate this show's times in about 2 weeks, but that is just a guess, based on recent trends.

If I were you, I would make that dining reservation in confidence, and would assume a 9 pm show time.

    Have a magical vacation!
