Hello Elizabeth! I am so glad you have sailed back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My heart bursts learning that four generations will be sailing together on the Disney Wonder! This is going to be a cruise filled with so many special memories for you and your entire family. Our family trip with just three generations was one of our most memorable vacations we experienced to date. I firmly believe as beautiful as the destinations are that we visit, it's the people we travel with (including those phenomenal Disney Cruise Line Cast Members!) that make the magic.
In general, Disney Cruise Line does require minor children to be accompanied by an adult guest sailing in the same stateroom. Minor children are allowed to go ashore with an authorized adult when their parent or guardian completes and specifies this in the "Traveling with Minors" section of My Online Check-In. It is also possible to complete this authorization process with Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) by signing a Debarkation Authorization for Minors Form. This will allow Grandparents (or even Great Grandparents!) the opportunity to make some special memories with their Grand-baby while you have a chance to explore Alaska.
If you are looking for a special experience and treat for either yourself or any of the adults in your travel party, consider a day pass for
Senses Spa and Salon. Very reasonably priced, these day passes can be purchased prior to your sailing or while onboard (space is limited). The pass gives you access to heated lounges, a variety of unique showers, steam room and sauna. It's a great place to warm up and relax after a day of adventure!
Please cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any more questions you may have. We are glad to help you plan your magical vacation. Bon voyage! Angie
