I'll be visting WDW Sept 13-20. I picked that time thinking it would be less crowded. I'm getting worried though. My sister tried to make a reservation today for a value/ moderate resort and nothing is available. Is this all beacuse of the free dining?

    Hi Christine,

I would not panic about the crowds. September is the slowest travel month because summer is over and kids are back at school.

You are there during the last week of free dining so that is what is probably causing your sister to have trouble making a reservation.  Also, many airlines offer specials to fill the planes during this time.

I would have your sister to keep trying for a room or look at the value resorts. The Swan and the Dolphin are not Disney properties but do get a lot of the benefits. They offer specials, and if your sister has Sheraton points, they can be used at the Dolphin.

Good luck having your sister join in the fun!
