Hello. I’ll be visiting during the holidays for the first time and I’m considering a Fantasmic Dining Package. Is the only option for the package to have guaranteed seats during the 1st showing if there are 2 the night we are attending? TIA for your help!

Hiya, Jenean, and thanks for bringing this "fantasmic" question to planDisney! Dining packages are one of my favorite ways to secure seating for events, so let's look at how the process will work for Fantasmic! on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

I chatted with a firework-wielding Cast Member who confirmed that Fantasmic! Dining Packages are only offered for the first showing of the nighttime spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If the first show gets canceled due to weather or technical difficulties, guests with guaranteed seating can go to the second instead.

If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book dining and other experiences for up to ten days of your stay when your 60-day window opens. It looks like that could be tomorrow for you! I'm sprinkling pixie dust so you'll get the meals you dream of.

My sisters and I had a blast recently at 50's Prime Time Cafe. If you enjoy interacting with fun Cast Members, this meal is for you. Our waiter sang his own nonsensical version of the opening bars of "Circle of Life," and we couldn't eat for laughing. Remember to keep your elbows off the table if you choose your package at this location. I may or may not have had to sing "I'm a Little Teapot" in front of total strangers!

Jenean, I'm wishing on a star that your holiday visit is full of magic and Mickey! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
