I'll be traveling with our 2 year old this Nov. What should I carry in my bag that I'll take to the park each day so that he's got what he needs to be happy? I didn't want to carry this huge diaper bag. Thanks!

    Hi Kim!

I have 3 little ones in that age range so I'm very familiar with packing a bag for the park!

We opt to take two bags.  One is something cheap that we wouldn't mind losing, just in case it got swiped.  (Which incidentally has NEVER happened.  Disney is quite safe.)  In it we pack diapers, wipes, a change of clothes for the kids, some snacks like cheerios, goldfish crackers, granola bars, water bottles, battery-powered handheld fans, etc.  We leave this bag in the basket of our stroller while we ride or catch a show.  In a smaller bag I put our camera, video camera, pin lanyards (since inevitably the kids get tired of wearing them), souvenirs we pick up, and other valuables that I don't want to lose.  I take this bag on rides with me.

Having two separate bags lightens the load considerably, and this system has worked out quite well for my family.  I hope it gives you some ideas for your trip as well.  :)
