I'll be traveling to WDW staying at the AOA. I booked a package deal through Disney including dinning. My dad won't be joining us until later that week. Would I still have to add my dad or could he just buy park tickets when he arrives? What are my options

    Hi Bridget,

I have only heard great things about the Art of Animation Resort! I hope you have a wonderful time!

Every guest staying at the Walt Disney World Resort needs to be listed in the room. This is a safety requirement. If guests are on a package which includes dining, all guests must be on the same package regardless of when you check into the room.

Since you already booked a package and you add him, he would need to pay for dining for the entire time. He could book his own room and then he only pays for the dining while he is there.

You could book his room so they are linked in the system and request adjoining rooms.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
