I'll be traveling with a toddler this fall and am considering taking a "break" during the day to go back to the resort. Does anyone know an estimate of how long it will take to get from the parks to the Caribbean beach resort? More than an hr?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa! Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation! You are going to love staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort when you visit the "Happiest Place on Earth" this fall! I highly recommend going back for a midday break or nap with little ones. As a mom of four children which includes a set of twin boys, I can tell you from firsthand experience, that my children always enjoy the parks more when they get that much needed nap each day. With little ones, I prefer to arrive at park opening and then head back to the resort after lunch. We then return to the park in the early evening to enjoy all of the nighttime activities. I would estimate the travel time to take approximately 20 - 45 minutes when utilizing Disney's complimentary bus transportation. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes. I have never personally traveled from the parks to a Disney Resort or vice versa when it took over an hour. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions that you may have as your planning progresses. Best wishes for a magical trip, Melissa!
