i'll be traveling solo for the first time (weird I know) but i have reservations at sci fi dine in, cap n jacks, crystal palace, tonys town square, jiko, ohana, and biergarten any of those places you wouldn't suggest for a solo travler? any other suggestio

    Hi Stacie,

Not weird at all. As much as I love traveling with my friends and family, I also really love my solo trips to Disney World. It is the perfect chance to spend extra time at your favorite shows and attractions. It is also a great time to dine at some locations that maybe you have skipped due to your kids' taste buds.

You have made some great choices for your dining reservations. Sci Fi and Biergarten are great locations as the layout and designs of the tables will allow you to chat with fellow guests if you would like to meet new people. Crystal Palace and 'Ohana are wonderful if you are looking to interact with some of the Disney pals. One of my favorite solo locations is Tony's Town Square. While it is not guaranteed, I like requesting a table on the outdoor patio. This is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal while watching the guests mingle around Main Street. If you time it correctly, you may also have a great seat for the afternoon or evening parade. There is absolutely nothing to complain about with Jiko, whether you are alone or with fifty. It is a superb restaraunt with wonderful atmosphere and an incredible menu.

The only location I really enjoy that is not on you list is Teppan Edo. This restaraunt is located at the Japan pavilion at Epcot and features a great selection of meat, seafood and vegetables. The tables offer seating for groups of eight and are located around  a heated grill where the meals are prepared. The chefs cooks table side and not only is it a fun dining experience, it would be a great chance to interact and chat with your table mates.

I hope you have a fantastic time!
