I'll be traveling on August with my 6 and 3 years boys and need advise regarding taking them to Blizzard or Typhoon. Which will be more appropriate and why?

    Hi Jesus,

I love Disney water parks in August! It is my favorite way to beat the heat!!

I love both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. However, for your children I would recommend Blizzard Beach. Blizzard Beach has great family rides such as Teamboat Springs. Also, the main wave pool is not as wild as it is at Typhoon Lagoon where they generate waves big enough to surf!

Also, they have a great play area where my children could have stayed the entire day! Tike's Peak has icebergs to walk on and cool slides to venture. It is designed for children under 48 inches but adults can keep cool here as well.

When your children are older, they would like Typhoon Lagoon with Shark Reef and Crush 'n' Gusher Water Roller Coaster.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
