I'll be taking my second WDW trip in October from the 13th thru the 19th. I've read different things about the crowds during that time of year, will you please help with some clarification.

    Hi Deidre,

I love Walt Disney World in October! It is my favorite time of the year to go but I rarely get there during this month because my daughters are in school.

I personally think the crowds are less than in the summer months and during the holidays. Where you might be seeing an increase in crowds is at Epcot on the weekends. During this time, Epcot hosts the International Food and Wine Festival. This event features extra events and kiosks hosting delicious foods and drinks from around the world. It is very popular and many Floridians enjoy this event as well as tourists.

I recommend avoiding Epcot on the weekends and you will be fine with the crowds.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
