Welcome aboard, Stacey! Hooray for your very first cruise with Disney! I remember when my family and I set sail on our first
Disney Cruise Line voyage. Everything was brand new and really magical and we still think back on the memories we made on that first cruise. Since then, we've sailed many more times with Disney, and each cruise has been better than the one before, but there is something extra special about the memories of our very first sailing, and I just can't wait for you to experience it too!
Don't worry about being in the Aft of the ship. Since your
stateroom is on Deck 7, which is a mid-level deck, you'll have much less movement no matter where on that deck you are. My daughter and I just returned from a magical mother-daughter cruise on the Wonder, and had a mid-level stateroom in the very Aft of the ship and it was great! I like that we were in a quieter section of the ship where not a lot of people were walking by. I didn't notice any movement of the ship in our stateroom at all. Of course, if the seas get rough, you'll feel some swaying wherever you are, but with the regular calm seas you don't need to worry about being in the Aft at all.
Being on Deck 7, you'll have only staterooms above and below you, so you shouldn't notice any added noise in your location. It's the staterooms above or below busy areas like the pool deck or the Youth Clubs that might hear a bit more than others, so you're all set, Stacey!
Have such fun as you get ready for this trip and please stop back with more questions as you continue to prepare. We're happy to help!
