Hi, I’ll be staying in a two bedroom villa this coming February in 2027 with my family at the Grand Floridian. Could you tell me which buildings offer the 2 bedroom villas? Are they refurbished to look like the updated Mary Poppins rooms?

Hello Ashley and welcome other planDisney! While I’m not practically perfect in every way, I’m here to provide the tips and advice you need for your upcoming stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Now let’s get you your answer so you can feel supercalifragilisticexpialidocious about your upcoming stay!

The 2 bedroom villas at the Grand Floridian are all located in the Villas building, which is located at the south end of the Resort across from the spa. While the 2 bedroom villa have some artwork inspired by Mary Poppins, these villas do not have all the theming and furnishings found in the newer Resort Studio villas found in the Big Pine Key building. However, the 2 bedroom villas were refurbished a couple of years ago to include the pull-down Murphy bed to replace the sofa bed, among other improvements.

Ashley, I see that you also asked about access to the monorail and food options from the 2 bedroom villas. You’ll be happy to know that the Villas building is just a short walk outside to the Main building. It’s also a covered walkway, perfect for shelter during those rainy days! As for food options, you’ll find plenty of food options in the Main Building, such as one of my favorites, Citricos. You’ll also find a character dining opportunity at 1900 Park Fare, so be sure to say hello to Aladdin and Princess Tiana for me!

If you’re looking for a quick service option, Gasparilla Island Grill is just further north of the Main building. I suggest putting in a mobile order when you leave your villa on the My Disney Experience app. By the time you arrive, your food should be ready! Here’s a pro tip! Just outside of Gasparilla Island Grill at the boat launch is a great place to catch the Happily Ever After fireworks. They even pipe in the music from this nighttime show here. It’s a great way to catch the show and avoid the busy crowds on Main Street!

Ashley, I hope that this satisfies your needs regarding your upcoming Grand Floridian stay. I’m wishing you all the best for that trip and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
