Hi Mary, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! I love visiting Walt Disney World during the Fall. The weather is slightly cooler, but more importantly, the
International Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT is in full swing! Now, let’s talk about getting those waitlists fulfilled for a
Disney Vacation Club villa!
Generally, you’ll have a better chance of having a waitlist fulfilled for resort view deluxe studio at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as compared to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas (either
Kidani Village or
Jambo House). This is because there are more studios at Saratoga Springs, so the likelihood that a cancellation may occur at that DVC Resort.
However, just so that you’re aware, you can only put in a
maximum of 2 waitlist requests per Membership per Use Year, so you won’t be able to have 3 simultaneous waitlist requests for deluxe studio villas. But don’t fret! You can put in a third waitlist as soon as one gets fulfilled. Alternatively, you could consider another room type, like a 2 bedroom villa and a deluxe studio. Those two villas have the same maximum occupancy as 3 separate deluxe studios.
