Hi, Maria! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you're one week away from your magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! Soon, you'll be able to enjoy
The World's Most Magical Celebration before its last day on March 31, 2023 and the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom by the time you arrive. But most exciting of all, you'll be calling
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort "home" during your trip! Let's talk about modifying your room type:
- This type of change can sometimes be made online, depending on availability. To do this, log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans.
- If your reservation is able to be modified, you should see a "Change Reservation" button next to your Disney Resort hotel. Click "Change Reservation," then scroll down and click "Change" next to Room Type.
- If a Preferred Room is available, you should be able to select this room and continue to check out.
- However, there's a chance you might not be able to make this change since your trip is right around the corner. If that's the case, I'd suggest calling a Cast Member to see if this change can be made. They'll be happy to take a look at your reservation and help you with any next steps!
- Of course, you can also ask the Cast Member if there are any available Preferred Rooms at the front desk when you check in to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. While nothing is guaranteed, Cast Members will always do their best to help!
Before you arrive, make sure that you've also made your
theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip. And take a little time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, access
virtual queues, and even
mobile order food.
Please write back if you have any more questions, and have a magical trip!
