Hi, I’ll be staying at Disney Pop Century on my trip, am I also able to use the pool area at Disney Art of Animation? Can you also jump on the shuttle bus to take a trip from Pop Century to Art of Animation and what’s the rough travel time?

    Dave,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Disney's Pop Century Resort, as well as Disney's Art of Animation Resort, are two personal favorites of mine. They are great, not only for their value and over-the-top themes, but also for their locations. I love having the Disney Skyliner just steps away, ready to whisk me off to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios!

To your first question, technically no, you are not allowed to pool-hop to other Disney resorts, even though it is just a quick walk across the bridge crossing Hourglass Lake.

To your second question, there really is no bus that would take you directly from Pop Century to the Art of Animation without going WAY out of your way and requiring some transfers. But the good news is that the two resorts are right next to each other. The walk between the two resorts is just a short 317 meters (1,000 feet, or 2/10 of a mile). So, about a 4-5 minute walk.

    BONUS TIP
The Hippy Dippy Pool at Pop Century is a great pool, so rather than considering using the Art of Animation pool, try this, or one of the other two resort pools when it is time to take a dip!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
