Hi there! I’ll be staying at the Contemporary this October and I was wondering if the room will have a hairdryer. I’m not sure what’s changed since Covid. Thank you!

    Heigh-Ho Ashley,

Excitement fills the air knowing you are only a couple of weeks away from visiting Walt Disney World. And at Disney's Contemporary Resort, your Home Away from Home, get ready to enjoy the newly refurbished rooms in the Main Tower. They are INCREDIBLE!!! In fact, Disney's Contemporary Resort has reenvisioned its modern past and brought it fashionably up to date from new decor to a streamlined lobby and with the premier of  Steakhouse 71 and California Grill's limited-time nostalgic menu, it's hard to believe this resort is celebrating its 50th.

But I digress. I am a strategic packer and try to bring only what is needed. And one item you can leave at home is your hair dryer.  In fact, if you check out the post from the Disney Parks Blog, about the updated rooms, you can see in the bathroom picture a hairdryer is resting on the bottom shelf of the vanity. And on the amenities listing for the rooms, it is also listed as an item to be found in your room. So, bring the brushes and the hair products and coif your hair in a practically perfect way knowing a hair dryer awaits you at your Home Away from Home.

    See You Real Soon,
