Fort Wilderness Disney Vacation Club Cabins

Justin from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I'll be staying at Cabins at Fort Wilderness in January 2025 on DVC points. I know the cabins do not have their own laundry machines, but could not find any details about whether the laundry facilities at the Comfort Stations is free for DVC members.

Welcome Home, Justin! Thanks so much for moseying on over to planDisney--it's always a pleasure to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member. Let's saddle up and track down an answer to your question!

I'm so excited for you to experience The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This new addition to the DVC family offers Members the best of both worlds--you can relax in the beautiful natural surroundings, AND it's just a stone's throw from Magic Kingdom Park! The cabins are a great fit for larger families and of course, give you access to all of the fun at Fort Wilderness.

One of my favorite things about staying in a DVC resort is the ability to do laundry during our trip. It means we save valuable luggage space, and makes our return home a little easier. Justin, I spoke to some helpful Cast Members who confirmed that DVC Members staying at the Cabins using their Membership can use the laundry machines in the Comfort Stations for free. Simply visit the Front Desk and they will provide you with tokens to use in the machines.

Dressed in your freshly cleaned clothes, you'll be ready to explore the activities that make Fort Wilderness unique among all of the Walt Disney World Resort accommodations. Our family never misses a chance to enjoy dinner and a show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue--it's an iconic experience that will have you laughing and singing along!

Another family favorite is Tri-Circle-D Ranch, where you can channel your inner cowpoke with pony rides, trail rides, and carriage and wagon rides. Currently, there is a discount on select activities at the ranch for DVC Members (subject to change), so be sure to check out the Member Benefits site closer to your departure date to see what savings you can find!

Justin, I hope you're looking forward to your trip "Home" to the most magical campground around--I am sure it will be a vacation full of s'mores, core memories, and magic galore!  Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please reach out anytime if we can help with any other questions to make your trip a breeze.

    Stay Magical!
