Nicole,
Congratulations on the addition to your family! I bet you are so excited to visit the most magical place on earth in August and have your little one experience it for the first time!
I have a few tips to make your trip as magical as possible for both you and your little one.
Make sure to visit the
Baby Care Centers that are located throughout the park. This complimentary service is a life saver for new moms because it offers you a place to rest, feed your baby (complete with a private nursing room), microwave, oven and sink, a room with comfy chairs and a TV and the on-site shop has formula, baby food, diapers and more.
Don't worry too much about the heat. You will be happy to hear that many attractions are indoors (and air conditioned) and are appropriate for kids of all ages, which means you can bring your little one with you! I suggest slow moving attractions, such as
it's a small world. Indoor attractions, such as the Hall of Presidents are great if you need a place to sit and relax, out of the heat, while being entertained.
But do not despair if you want to ride thrilling attractions. Disney World offers
Rider Switch, which allows you and your other adult guest to take turns watching the baby and riding the attraction.
Disney offers
stroller rentals as well.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
