Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jessica! I am so glad you sailed by today.
Time is ticking away until you hear your name announced as you step onboard and start your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Then you can partake in one of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise - DINING!
To answer your question - YES! One of the benefits of the second seating for dinner is the Dine and Play program. Your children eat first and then are picked up by Youth Counselors to head to the youth clubs while you can enjoy your dinner. Just let your service team know each evening if you are interested in participating and they will coordinate the rest for you. Just relax and enjoy your meal!
If you are interested in a truly decadent dining experience have you considered dining at the adults exclusive
Palo restaurant? Available for an additional fee, this is a must splurge for my husband and I once on every cruise. It boasts amazing, authentic Italian dining with the BEST dessert on the planet - chocolate soufflé! On select days, the
Oceaneer Club serves up lunch or dinner so parents have the opportunity to have an evening out onboard the ship. This is a great opportunity to check with the Youth Counselors to see what days this is offered and make your Palo reservation accordingly. Dress to the nines and make a night out of it by following it up with drinks and dancing in the adults exclusive clubs and lounges!
Sail on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other planning questions you may have. Bon voyage and happy sailing Jessica! Angie
