Hi Becky!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and super Congratulations! I think it’s fantastic that you are introducing your teeny Mickey or Minnie to the most Magical Place on Earth so early!
I visited Walt Disney World during both of my pregnancies, the first time as a BabyMoon during my second trimester and the second time during my first trimester with my twins (though we didn’t know it was twins at the time!). Each time I had a delightful time, but took precautions to make sure we were “all” ok! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated and take as many breaks as you need.
There are a few attractions that are seated and air-conditioned, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom Park is a calm and pleasant break. Also, there are plenty of scenic places to relax (including rocking chairs!) at Tom Sawyer Island. It is one of my favorite places to go for a break in the day.
The fireworks at the Park can be a bit loud, and depending on how you are feeling, they might be jarring. The Baby Care Centers (located in every Theme Park) are quiet, cool, have bathrooms, and you can eat! The Baby Care Center in Magic Kingdom Park is right in between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace. I think that would be an excellent place for you to rest during the fireworks; you can stay inside the entire time, or grab a sneak peek of the show right outside the doors!
As the resident Doctor of the group, please make sure to check with your doctor for advice on which attractions and entertainment will suit you and your babe best. Also, scroll through the
Expectant Mothers Advisory List. This is a list of attractions that you are advised to avoid in the interest of yours and peanut’s safety.
Becky, have a wonderful time. I can’t wait for your child’s story to be told!
