Ahoy there, Jiwon! Thanks for sailing by planDisney.
I noticed you will be visiting from Korea! Korea is on my bucket list of countries to visit, and I am so excited for your upcoming excellent adventure. A Disney cruise is magical anytime, but it sounds like it will be
extra magical with your parents' help!
If your parents are paying for the cruise, when you book the cruise, you will enter their credit card details in the payment section of the booking. But, since your parents aren't sailing with you, the best way to use their credit card onboard is to have them gift you Onboard Credit. The process is pretty straightforward:
• Head to the Disney Cruise Line website and log in.
• Look for "Onboard Gifts" under the "Already Booked" tab.
• Enter your reservation details, and select "
Onboard Credit."
• Enter the desired credit amount, and you can enjoy your cruise with your parents' generosity!
You can use the credit for spa visits, specialty restaurants, port adventures, or to grab a popcorn bucket on your way to the movies. It is simple and easy to use, and you can track your expenditures on the
Navigator app or your stateroom TV. The great thing about using the Onboard Credit system is that any leftover amount will be credited back to your parents' card at the end of your cruise, and you also
avoid foreign transaction fees if your parents' card is not issued by a US-based bank.
Jiwon, if you have any other questions, please feel free to return to us. In the meantime, I wish you smooth sailing!
