Welcome back Jessica! I am glad you've sailed our way again!
A Disney Cruise Line vacation checks so many boxes of a great family vacation thanks in part to the great youth activities and spaces onboard. We have to PULL my son out of the Oceaneer Lab and often cannot get him to leave until they turn off the magic play floor!
The Oceaneer Lab and Club are open throughout your cruise for fully toilet trained children ages three to twelve. Register your pirates during your Online Check-In or when you board. Check your Personal Navigator newsletter for specific hours during your sailing. Reservations are not needed, there is always room for your pirates who can move freely between the two spaces. You can also enjoy the club with them during designated open house hours (my favorite playtime)!
The
"it's a small world" nursery is a welcoming space for the under three crowd. Space can be extremely limited so I would highly recommend booking advanced reservations when your Online Check-In window opens. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout your sailing. There is an additional fee for the nursery per half hour (minimum reservation time is one hour).
The tween and teen crowd are able to register for Edge and Vibe youth clubs for similar experiences aimed at their interests. This is a great way to give them the independence that will make their vacation memorable (while under Youth Counselor care)!
Youth spaces are open during port days (check your Personal Navigator for details) and your children can be left in their care while on a Port Adventure. Be sure to let the Youth Counselors know the details of your plans before you leave.
Bon voyage and enjoy your getaway! Angie
