Hi! I'll be at the cruise from Jan 20 until the 24th. I'd like to know if I can keep my luggage in my room and disembark by myself. If so, at what time can I do it and from what time the restaurants will be open for breakfast. Kind regards Bruna

    Hi Bruna,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you sailed over to visit us with your question!

It might not feel like it, but before you know it, you will enjoy incredible food, magical Broadway-style entertainment, top-notch shopping, and some of the most beautiful places on the map. You must be so excited about your Disney Cruise Line vacation

Yes, when you arrive at a stunning new port of call, you should feel free to leave all but your valid Passport and your Key to the World Card behind. You will need both of these to disembark, and to board the Ship once more at the end of your adventure. Everything else can stay safe and sound in your Stateroom until you return.

You can start your day with a full belly because there will be a location to enjoy breakfast early in the morning. Generally, the buffet-style restaurant on your Disney Cruise Line Ship will start serving breakfast at 7 AM, but be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for specific opening times for your sailing. You could also pre-order room service to have something warm and tasty waiting for you just as you awake. (There is nothing better!)

When you arrive at a port of call, authorities must permit Guests to go ashore. Once that happens, you will hear an announcement that directs you to Deck One for your big day on land. While the time can vary from location to location, be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the latest information.

We love to pack lightly for our adventure days. Maybe a small backpack with our necessary documents, some sunscreen, and a reasonable amount of cash or a credit card is all we need to explore. If you have reserved your space in a Port Adventure, be sure to double-check your reservation for any details about any additional items that might be necessary. Then, be on your way!

I hope that was helpful, Bruna. Please come on back and let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare to set sail. We are here for you!

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
