Moms, I'll be at Coronado Springs in April to celebrate what would have been my Mom's 88th birthday. What are some fun things I could do to honor her? I've done Pick A Pearl in the past.

Hi, Rochelle. What a wonderful thing to celebrate your mom and honor her memory.

Think of some things your mom would have loved doing. My grandmother had quite the green thumb, and my girls grew up hearing stories about her and her love of growing things. We decided on one trip to take the kids on the Behind the Seeds tour at Epcot in the Living with the Land attraction. What things did your mom enjoy that make you think of her? Maybe there's a Special Event or Tour that matches something she would have really loved.

Browse through Disney's Days of Christmas, a shop at Disney Springs where you may find a beautiful ornament or holiday trinket that reminds you of your mom. You could even display the ornament in your home all year, so you'll always have something nearby that makes you think good thoughts of your mom.

Alumni Disney Mom Erin inspired me to do random acts of kindness in honor of my mom when she passed. We bought balloons for a couple of young children, let families go in front of us in line, and we purchased lunch at a quick service location for a newlywed couple in line ahead of us.

You might give stickers to children, wear a button that says you are celebrating your mom, or make it a mission to enjoy all of her favorite snacks or desserts.

Enjoy your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. It's a beautiful thing to want to remember your mom in such a special way.
