Be our guest, Kathryn, and put planDisney's service to the test! If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest!
Speaking of fine dining, Walt Disney World Resort restaurants have been reopening in phases over the past eighteen months. Three locations — Flying Fish, Jiko – The Cooking Place, and The Turf Club Bar & Grill — are the lastest reopenings that have begun accepting Advance Dining Reservations again. However, the one we've all been anxiously awaiting is
Victoria & Albert's. Serving multiple courses over a few hours, this AAA five-diamond rating restaurant is one of the most exclusive dining experiences in all of Florida. The Victorian atmosphere evokes another era when dining was an elegant ritual. The coveted Chef's Table experience sits at the top of my Disney Bucket List!
I stopped at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa the other night to inquire about a reopening date. The front desk Cast Member I spoke to said that preparations have begun, but a date has not been announced yet. It's safe to speculate that it will be sometime in 2022- I am hoping for some pixie dust that it will be very soon! The best place to find breaking news is the Disney Parks Blog; I usually check it several times a week.
If your trip occurs before the reopening, I highly suggest making a reservation at
Cítricos; the decor pays homage to the movie
Mary Poppins Returns. If you enjoy seafood, try the Domestic Golden Tilefish! If you need a little pampering (and who doesn't), book an appointment at
The Grand Floridian Spa. Treatments can be booked online up to 60 days in advance.
Yes, indeed, we aim to please, Kathryn! If there's anything else you need, ma chère Mademoiselle, don't hesitate to ask!
