Any ideal when the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP tour is coming back? I have a trip booked for the end of April but have not seen a thing about this tour.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Roger.

Your question is as welcome as can be here at planDisney! In a matter of weeks, you will be on your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth where you'll get to experience the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and all the EARidescent festivities of The World's Most Magical Celebration. I bet you're more than a little excited!

It sounds like you are a Wildest Ride in the Wilderness-riding, Tower of Terror-dropping, thrill-seeker like me. I mean, I LOVE the attractions! It's why I'm a rope drop to park close sort of gal. I want the most time in the theme parks each day, so I can pack in as much fun as possible. The Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour was such a great way to do just that. Sadly, I no longer see it listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I wish I had an update on whether this tour will return, but no news on its fate has been announced at this time. I'm crossing my fingers it will return soon, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

I know you had your heart set on the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour, but have you considered booking an alternative Disney VIP Tour instead? The Private VIP Tours allow you to customize the itinerary for your dream Disney day alongside your own private VIP Tour Guide. This means you could build your tour to include the same attractions that the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour included. For a limited time, the 50th Anniversary Tour is also being offered as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration. While it's not as customizable as a Private VIP Tour, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn all about the history of Walt Disney World Resort.

Roger, if the Disney VIP Tours aren't on your radar, I suggest you take advantage of rope drop. Be at the theme park you've reserved each day well before the park opening time (I aim for at least an hour before), so you can be one of the first Guests through the gates. Typically, the wait times for attractions are lower at rope drop, so you'll be able to get a lot accomplished if you get there early.

I hope this helps, Roger. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to stop by planDisney again. We're all EARs and happy to help!

    To infinity and beyond,
    Alyssa
