Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Corey!
I am glad you sailed by with another great question about your upcoming high seas adventure on the Disney Dream. Get ready for all of the
magic onboard when you sail with your pal, Captain Mickey!
As a fellow Minnesotan, I can tell you the weather in the
Bahamas and
Caribbean during your cruise will be an upgrade from February in the bold north! Typical daytime temperatures are in the seventies. In the evenings, with the cool sea breeze, it can feel a little chilly if you are outside on deck. When we sail this time of year, I typically pack spring and summer clothing, but also bring a light sweater or jacket for everyone in the evenings.
Disney Cruise Line's suggested
packing list is a great place to start. If you don't want to pack a lot, there are also self service
laundry facilities onboard that easily sync with your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to let you know when your laundry is ready. Use of the onboard washers and dryers are charged directly to your stateroom account. I always take advantage of this when traveling with our family of four and tuck away a few dryer sheets and detergent pods in my suitcase.
For breakfast, if you are dining in
Cabanas, a swimsuit with a cover up is sufficient. If you are dining in one of the rotational dining rooms for your first meal of the day, I would recommend
cruise casual attire.
Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your adventure begins!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
